Changes don’t show up: clear the cache
After updating WordPress, the theme or plugins, always clear the site cache and the browser cache — it prevents most “broken layout” issues.
1. Site cache
Clear the site cache first — otherwise clearing the browser is useless. Use the purge button of your caching plugin (W3 Total Cache, Hummingbird, Autoptimize…). Your host may also cache the site on the server: purge it in the hosting panel or ask the host. Guide: How to clear the WordPress cache.
2. Browser cache
Clearing the cache is enough — no need to delete cookies or saved passwords. Restart the browser afterwards, or check the site in a private window.
3. Elementor CSS
If styles are missing after an update, go to Elementor → Tools → General and click Regenerate Files & Data.
