Contact Form 7 doesn’t send emails

Demo content may import forms in demo mode: the form shows “sent successfully” but skips sending the email. Turn demo mode off:

1. Go to Contact → Contact Forms and edit the form.
2. Open the Additional Settings tab.
3. Remove the line demo_mode: on.
4. Save the form.

Emails still don’t arrive? Many hosts block PHP mail — send emails through SMTP with a plugin like WP Mail SMTP.
