Licenses and updates

Every product is a one-time purchase: you pay once and keep the product forever — with all future updates and our support.

What you get

• The product files — the theme or template, the child theme and the documentation.
• A license key — activates the theme on your site and identifies you in support tickets.
• Lifetime updates — bug fixes, compatibility with new WordPress and PHP versions, new features. No renewals, no subscription.
• Support — personal help from the people who build the themes. Open a ticket with your license key.

One license — one site

A license covers one website (plus your local or staging copy of it). For another site you need another license. Moving the site to a new domain? Deactivate the license on the old one first — see Move license to a new domain.

Bundled premium plugins (Slider Revolution, WPBakery, ACF PRO) come with the theme without their own license — see Where is my WPBakery / Slider Revolution / ACF license?.

Getting updates

Gumroad

1. When a new version is out, you get an email from Gumroad.
2. Open your Gumroad Library and download the latest files — they are always free for buyers.
3. Install the update: How to update a theme.

ThemeForest

Updates are free as well. Download the latest version in ThemeForest → Downloads, or update from the dashboard with the Envato Market plugin. Licenses follow the Envato license terms (Regular or Extended).

Automatic updates in the dashboard

Activate the theme in Theme Panel → Activate Theme with your license key (Gumroad) or purchase code (ThemeForest) — new versions then appear in Dashboard → Updates. Can’t activate? See Theme activation fails.

Keep your changes in a child theme — then updates never overwrite them.

Where is my license key?

In the Gumroad receipt email and on the product page in your Gumroad Library. Details: Where to find your license key and download.
