Layout types
| Type | What it does | Settings |
|---|---|---|
| Grid | Equal cells in rows. | Image ratio (original, 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 3:4, 2:3) and fit (cover or contain); columns and gaps per device. |
| Masonry | Columns of items in their own heights. Each item goes under the shortest column, so the order runs across, and items loaded later never move the ones above. | Columns and gaps per device. |
| Tiles | A repeating pattern of wide, tall and small tiles. | Pattern per device (tablet and mobile can use their own, or follow the wider one); gaps per device. |
| Justified | Rows of one height, images in their own proportions, like a photo gallery. | Row height per device; stretch the last row or keep it at the row height. |
Built-in tiles patterns: Classic (wide + two stacked), Mosaic (big square + four), Tall + wide, Bricks and Feature row + two, plus the ones your theme adds. Your theme can also add whole layout types (a carousel, for example); they appear in the same list with their own settings.
