Portfolio

The portfolio is a content type of its own, Portfolio Items, with Categories and Tags. A project has a title, text, an excerpt, a featured image, page attributes (order) and custom fields, and works with the block editor.

In Portfolio → Settings → Portfolio:

• Use the portfolio: turn it off if you only need grids of posts, pages or media. The Portfolio menu goes away and Grid Layouts get a menu of their own. Your projects are kept and come back when you turn it on again.
• Addresses: the part of the link before a project, category or tag name. Defaults: portfolio-item, portfolio-category, portfolio-tag. Links update right after saving; the preview under the fields shows the result.
