Install Leedo

Install Leedo like any WordPress theme. New to WordPress? Start with the official guide How to install WordPress.

Upload in the dashboard

  1. Download the Leedo package from ThemeForest or Gumroad and unzip it.
  2. Go to Appearance → Themes → Add New Theme → Upload Theme.
  3. Choose the Leedo theme zip — not the whole download package.
  4. Click Install Now, then Activate.

The “missing style.css” error means the wrong file was uploaded: pick the theme zip inside the package.

If the upload fails with “The link you followed has expired”, your hosting limits the upload size. Upload the theme via FTP instead.

Upload via FTP

  1. Unzip the Leedo theme zip.
  2. Connect to your server with an FTP client, such as FileZilla, and open wp-content/themes/.
  3. Upload the unzipped theme folder.
  4. Go to Appearance → Themes and activate Leedo.
