Template parts
Template Parts let you design the header, footer and other parts of your site in Elementor and choose where each one appears. A Template Part replaces the theme’s own part on the pages you pick, so you can, for example, use one header on the whole site and another one on the shop.
Create a Template Part
- Go to the Leedo → Template Parts and click Add New.
- Enter a title, choose the Template Type and set the Display Rules (see below).
- Click Edit with Elementor, design the part and publish.
Template types
| Type | Where it goes |
|---|---|
| Header | Replaces the theme header. |
| Footer | Replaces the theme footer. |
| Above Footer | Shown right above the footer, for example a call to action or a newsletter form. |
| 404 Page | Replaces the content of the “page not found” page. Needs no display rules. |
| Submenu | Content of a mega menu dropdown. |
| Custom | A block you place anywhere with its shortcode. |
Display rules
Display Rules say where the part appears, Exclude Rules where it doesn’t. Exclusions win. You can add several rules of each kind:
- Basic: Entire Website, All Singulars, All Archives
- Special Pages: 404 Page, Search Page, Blog / Posts Page, Front Page, Date Archive, Author Archive, WooCommerce Shop Page
- Post Types: all posts, pages, projects or products, and their archives
- Specific Target: the pages you pick one by one
Example: a header with the rule Entire Website and the exclusion Front Page shows everywhere except the home page.
Shortcode
Every Template Part has a shortcode, shown in its sidebar — click it to copy. Paste it into a Shortcode widget or a text block to show the part anywhere:

The Note field of a Template Part is visible only in the admin. Use it to remember what the part is for.
